XBD Split Casing Firefighting Pump

1. Features:

XBD Split Casing Fire Fighting Pump is single-stage double-suction horizontal split casing pump. The suction and discharge is horizontal and below the pump central line. When doing the inspections, just lift the pump cover. All the parts can be disassembled easily.

XBD type is consisted of pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, shaft sleeve, sealing ring, bearing parts and sealing parts. The sealing ring is to prevent the water from discharge from going back to the suction. Mechanical sealing or gland packing could be selected for shaft sealing. There are two types of lubricating form: grease and oil lubricating. We adopt  grease lubricating for the pump sizes below 800mm (including 800mm) and oil lubricating for the pump sizs over 800mm.

The pumps are connected to the motor by the flexible couplings....

2.Rotating direction.

Seeing from the driven part, the pump rotation is clockwise. The suction is at the right side and the discharge is at the left side. We can change the direction according to the customers’ request.  

3. Main parts material

 The wetted parts are Cast Iron (Cast Steel or bronze is optional).

4. Applicaions:

     The pump can transfer clear water and liquid like water. The liquid temperature should be 0°C~80°C.It is suitable for factories, mining mills, municipal water supply, power plant, agricultural irrigation and other hydraulic works. The allowed max. suction pressure is 0.6Mpa.
